Most have dual motors to ensure powerful operation and reduce wear on the motors with long-term use.  Lift chairs in this category are available to accommodate tall users and also have wider seats so that users can relax comfortably. They serve the same purpose of relaxing, reclining, and lifting and come in two-position, three-position, and infinite position.
